# Seraph

The **Seraph** is Entropia's main dedicated tank and group-survival class. It combines high survivability with healing and support abilities, making it especially valuable in organized dungeon groups and difficult encounters where keeping the entire party alive is more important than dealing the highest possible damage.

A tank-focused Seraph should prioritize **STA, HP, defensive effects, block, and healing effectiveness**. Its main value comes from absorbing pressure, recovering health, and supporting other party members. This makes the Seraph a dependable choice for progression groups, especially when the rest of the party is built primarily for damage.

Recent Royal Blood changes strengthened the defensive progression of the class by adding HP Recovery and STA scaling across the set's upgrade levels. The latest Soulreaver balance update also increased the Soulreaver Seraph Set's PvE 1-on-1 damage from **27% to 35%**, so the class contributes more damage while progressing toward Royal equipment. However, other recent balance changes reduced parts of the Seraph's damage and the AoE damage of Merkaba Hanzelrusha. The class should therefore be chosen primarily for tanking, healing, and group support rather than for maximum damage.

## Strengths

* Excellent group survivability
* Strong healing and support capabilities
* High HP and reliable defensive potential
* Very valuable in coordinated dungeon parties

## Weaknesses

* Lower damage than dedicated damage dealers
* More group-oriented than the Templar's self-sustain playstyle
* Less offensive flexibility than a Force Master hybrid

Choose the Seraph if you enjoy protecting the party, providing healing and support, and taking the dedicated tank role in challenging group content.
