Ready for Royal?
Royal Content is balanced around strong Soulreaver Equipment, a Soulreaver Weapon, and active Power-Ups. Reaching P50 alone is not enough. Before starting the Royal questline, make sure your character has enough damage, HP, and supporting systems to progress without becoming stuck.
Mandatory Requirements
Before starting the regular Royal progression route, you should have:
At least Platin Level 50
A complete and strongly upgraded Soulreaver Equipment set
A usable Soulreaver Weapon
Correct cards, awakenings, Diamonds, Fusion, and element
Reliable HP and Damage Power-Ups
A suitable Jewellery set, Key, Fashion Set, Fairy, and Stat-Pet
Only Soulreaver and Royal Weapons can damage Royal monsters.
Equipment Preparation
Check every Soulreaver item before entering Royal Content:
Make sure all Equipment parts belong to the correct class.
Upgrade the Equipment and Weapon as far as reasonably possible.
Insert suitable cards into all available piercing slots.
Insert the best affordable Stat-Diamonds into your Weapon.
Reapply the required element after the Soulreaver Weapon merge.
Add useful awakenings to all relevant Equipment parts.
Improve the Black Shiny and Soulreaver bonus stats for your chosen role.
Complete or improve your Weapon Fusion if your class uses one.
Royal Content was designed around good Soulreaver gear. A weak or unfinished Soulreaver setup will result in very low damage and insufficient survivability.
HP and Damage Targets
The required survivability increases quickly during Royal progression:
Wasteland monsters can deal up to approximately 900,000 damage.
Azmore Forest currently lists approximately 5,300,000 HP for the dungeon.
Destruction Cavern currently lists up to approximately 5,300,000 HP for its encounters.
These values are not your only requirement. A strong Tank, sufficient damage, active Power-Ups, and a coordinated group are equally important.
Jewellery and Keys
A permanent Soulreaver Jewellery set is an important goal before replacing temporary or weaker accessories.
To obtain Soulreaver Jewellery:
Farm materials
Farm the required materials in Deep Temple.
You should also improve your Magical Key as far as reasonably possible. Damage-focused characters should prioritize a Monsters Key, while defensive characters can use a Blessing Key.
For the complete progression, see the Jewellery Guide.
Permanent Power-Ups
Before Royal Content, work on permanent Ancient and Ultimate Power-Ups wherever possible.
Important examples include:
Ancient or Ultimate Glyph
Ancient or Ultimate Power-Up
Ancient or Ultimate Balloon
Ancient or Ultimate Aura
Ultimate Fairy and other permanent Ultimate items
Recipes for several Ancient items are available from [Master of Alchemy] Ruboru in Flaris. Materials are farmed in areas such as Venux, Bahara Desert, and Kailun Grassland.
For more information, see the Important Power-Ups Guide.
Fashion, Fairy, Pet, and Spirit Dice
Equipment is only one part of your character’s total strength.
Recommended supporting upgrades include:
A Gaia or Ultimate Fashion Set with useful upgrades, gems, bonuses, and awakenings
A suitable Cloak and Mask
A leveled Fairy
A useful Stat-Pet with suitable Beads
Spirit Dice stats for additional PvE power
Normal Spirit Dice can raise the four primary stats by up to +75. Unneeded Shiny, Black, and Soulreaver Equipment parts with bonus values can be converted through Start → Features → Spirit Dice.
For more information, see the Fashion Set Guide, Spirit Dice Guide and Fairy Guide
Plan Your Soulreaver Bonuses for Later
Your Soulreaver gear remains important after obtaining Royal Equipment. At Royal Level 15, the Soulreaver Sacrifice system can convert suitable Soulreaver items into permanent Damage or HP Power-Ups and may unlock Trance Mode.
Important planning notes:
The Soulreaver set and Weapon must be upgraded to at least +7 for the Sacrifice system.
The bonus values on the Helmet, Suit, and Weapon determine the result.
Boots and Gauntlets are required for the complete set but their bonus values are not included in the calculation.
Physical damage classes need suitable STR or DEX and Critical Damage bonuses.
Mentalist and Arcanist sacrifice values require suitable INT bonuses.
HP-focused gear requires STA bonuses.
Higher and more suitable bonus values provide stronger permanent Power-Ups.
Do not sacrifice your Soulreaver gear until your permanent Royal Equipment is clearly stronger.
For the exact values and effects, see the Soulreaver Sacrifice Guide.
Consumables and Group Preparation
Before starting the Royal questline:
Prepare Premium Status and useful EXP or Damage buffs.
Use weekend events whenever possible.
Bring enough healing items and Power-Ups.
Find a reliable group or Guild for difficult quests and dungeons.
Keep enough inventory space for quest items and dungeon rewards.
Check the Teleporter and Item Wiki for current requirements and drops.
