Royal Reroll

The new Royal Weapons & Set Parts have the potential to drop with up to three bonus values, two normal ones and one special bonus, which offers higher values. All bonus values in the new system are tailored to each job class. It's worth noting that a Slayer, for instance, cannot get an INT bonus on their helmet.

In Cardia, players can re-roll the bonus values of their royal items, but it comes at a cost. To do so, players need different materials from the Endgame dungeons (Destruction Cavern and Azmore Forest) or reroll chests that can be obtained from NPCs with a certain currency. For each item, players have 10 reroll attempts, which can be refilled using a scroll. However, it's only possible to re-roll the special bonus if there is already a special bonus on the item. Players can obtain the special bonus either by dropping it or by using the "All Lines Roll" function.

Permanent Royal Reroll Charms

Permanent Charms improve the probabilities within the Royal Reroll System. Unlike one-time Reroll Charms, a Permanent Charm is not consumed after a reroll and can therefore provide a lasting benefit while optimizing Royal equipment.

Because these charms are designed as a late-game progression system, obtaining and upgrading them requires a significant investment.

Obtaining Permanent Charms

Permanent Charms are earned through endgame progression. Their recipes require several valuable materials, including resources obtained by recycling older equipment:

  • Black Shiny weapons and equipment

  • Soulreaver weapons and equipment

  • Fire & Ice Coins from monsters in Cardia

  • Fire and Ice Flowers from the heroic timeruns of Destruction Cavern and Azmore Forest

Permanent Charms are bound and cannot be traded or offered on the player market.

The game displays a confirmation before the first affected reroll. Read it carefully: the reroll itself cannot be undone, even if the charm was selected accidentally.

Removing the Soulbound Curse

The Soulbound Curse can be removed with a dedicated scroll. This scroll is available through two different sources:

  • Purchase it from the Upgrade NPC using the required in-game currencies and materials.

  • Purchase it through the Donate Shop.

After the scroll has removed the curse, the item can be traded again.

Soulbound Curse removal scrolls are expensive. Consider the removal cost before using a Reroll Effect Charm on an item that you may want to sell or trade later.

Before Investing

Permanent Charms are best used on Royal items that you intend to keep for a long time. Before using one, make sure that:

  • The Royal item is the correct variant for your build.

  • You are satisfied with its class and equipment type.

  • You do not intend to trade or replace the item soon, or you can afford the curse removal scroll.

  • The permanent probability bonus justifies the acquisition and possible curse removal costs.

Permanent Charms can be extremely useful when perfecting endgame equipment, but they are not intended as an inexpensive shortcut. Plan the investment and the possible Soulbound removal cost carefully.
