# Fishing

Upon reaching Royal Level 6, you will unlock the ability to carry a Fishing Rod. With a Fishing Rod, you can obtain various items by playing a simple mini-game.<br>

## But where to get the Fishing Rod?

In [Cardia ](/custom-content/royal/cardia.md)there is an NPC called "Frodo", he is placed next to [Cardia Harbor](/custom-content/royal/cardia.md). By clicking on him and choosing "Exchange" you will see two items, to get the Fishing Rod, you need to exchange some items.

## Am I ready to start fishing?

Not yet... you can't get rewards without a bait. But what is a "bait"? A bait is an item you need to start fishing, and you can obtain it as drops in dungeons. By clicking on a piece of bait, it becomes active for 3 minutes. During these 3 minutes, you’ll be able to fish. The type of bait you use determines the items you can get. There are five different types of bait. The Standard Bait ![](/files/4XoLz2IiOFHRyzlKKP2a), the Anchovy Bait ![](/files/MdnxnkYHVkTlhOSstBOh), the Black Anchovy Bait![](/files/2TYY10VjZwrN4YcYaebR), the Fly Bait ![](/files/OvkrsRqTPPbxT49BBzq4)and the Gold Bait![](/files/HPuCVTpenQ862qxV8LZ2).

## How do I fish?

That’s very easy! Get close to a sea or any body of water and click the symbol near your character. Your character will start fishing. If you catch a fish, another window will open. In this window, you need to click on the fish inside the inner circle. Be careful not to click on the bombs! Keep in mind: the smaller the fish, the better the loot.
